SAMPLE PROJECT ENGAGEMENT

Renewable Diesel Pretreatment Unit – Phillips 66 Rodeo Renewed
Led construction, turnover, and pre-commissioning for the Pretreatment Area. Established standardized turnover practices across a revamp scope with wide contractor variability. Transitioned pre-TAR work seamlessly to the TAR team, eliminating scope gaps and shaving six weeks off startup versus the original PTO plan.

New Vacuum Tower Project – Turnaround Integration
Engaged to assess turnover readiness for a project integrated with a TAR. Then recruited, hired, and trained a dedicated Turnover Manager, ensuring systems and processes aligned with shutdown readiness and critical timing requirements.

World-Scale Chemical Facility
Conducted an operational readiness audit, then led turnover of OSBL systems. Accelerated startup through optimized SIMOPS, including cracked gas compressor commissioning and simultaneous dryout. Developed startup plans, schedules, and daily coordination—setting the stage for a flawless startup.

Tier 3 Gasoline Project – TAR Recovery
Assumed project manager responsibilities for an in-flight project where turnover planning was incomplete. Implemented structured systems that restored schedule confidence and delivered significant recovery in both timeline and stakeholder credibility.

Turnover Manager – Midstream Growth Program / LPG Export Terminal
Reduced startup timelines by implementing system handover methods tailored to each work package. Enabled significant construction and commissioning overlap, achieving mechanical completion one day and loading an LPG ship the next.

Wood River Coker & Refinery Expansion
Joined late-stage execution to push the project over the finish line. Re-established system walk discipline, supported coker commissioning planning, and remained through first drum cut to ensure stable startup.
